Animoca Brands Subsidiary nWay and IOC Introduce Olympics Go Paris 2024 for Gamers

nWay, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, has announced the release of a new game, Olympics™ Go! Paris 2024. Set to launch globally in June 2024, this game will be available on Android, iOS devices, and PC. Licensed by the International Olympic Committee, the game combines casual sports and city-building simulation, centered around the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

In Olympics™ Go! Paris 2024, players will manage and develop their own virtual cities while unlocking 12 Olympic sports through city expansions. The game features 12 mini-games based on real Olympic events such as swimming, the 100-meter dash, fencing, and artistic gymnastics. Notably, the game will also introduce a mini-game based on breaking, a new official Olympic sport, adding a contemporary angle to the traditional lineup.

The core gameplay involves competing for gold medals in each sport, reflecting the competitive essence of the Olympics. As players succeed in events, they can enhance their city with special features that boost their athletes’ training capabilities. Successful management of both city and sporting events allows players to gather Fan points, crucial for upgrading and expanding city infrastructures.

The game is entering a soft launch phase this month, with pre-registrations open through the app store or nWay’s website, which offer exclusive in-game items. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to acquire a digital collectible pin featuring the Paris 2024 mascot later in the year.
