The creators of the legally licensed Web3 game NFL Rivals, Mythical Games, have revealed the defense lineup as part of their Cold Snap initiative. In addition, the company has revealed information on a big upgrade that will improve managers’ experience using the in-game marketplace.
The first part of the Cold Snap program focuses on defense, showcasing athletes who played excellent defense in December and January. Players from various classifications, such as Epic and Rare to Mythical and Legendary, are represented in the roster. Among the notable players in this squad are Quandre Diggs (FS, Seattle Seahawks), DeForest Buckner (DT, Indianapolis Colts), and T.J. Watt (DE, Pittsburgh Steelers).
The “Snowmen” cards are a new feature of the program; they are based on NFL games that were played in a lot of snow. These cards change into Snow Day players, encapsulating the spirit of fond snowy field experiences. To further enhance the immersive aspects of the application, the creators want to release more Snowmen cards with original artwork and ice-blue flame visual effects.
A significant overhaul to the in-game marketplace (IGM) is being rolled out by Mythical Games with the goal of giving managers a more flexible purchasing experience. With its improved design, customers can now search and filter a larger selection of listings on the marketplace. This version is different from the existing suggestion system in that it gives managers more freedom to go through and choose cards.
To assure stability, the new IGM’s first test phase will include listings from the top 100 traders, or a comparable number of traders. In order to make the listings more accessible to all gamers, the studio intends to gradually extend them. This is a calculated step to improve the trading experience in NFL Rivals and provide managers a smooth, intuitive interface.
