Mocaverse Partners with OneFootball to Launch Football ID

Mocaverse, developed by Animoca Brands, announced a strategic partnership with OneFootball, the leading football platform with over 200 million fans. This collaboration aims to introduce Football ID, a universal football decentralized identifier (DID) and reputation layer, leveraging Mocaverse’s Realm Network interoperable SDK to bring football fans into the Web3 space.

OneFootball and Mocaverse are dedicated to enhancing the fan experience and preserving it through the Football ID initiative. With over 200 million monthly active users on the OneFootball network and app, fans will have the opportunity to claim their unique Football ID on-chain. This digital passport will record, reflect, and reward fan engagement, recognizing their loyalty regardless of their team allegiance.

Mocaverse will co-launch Football ID using the interoperable infrastructure SDK of the Realm Account system behind its Realm Network. Football ID will offer a single user-friendly login, similar to other Realm IDs like Moca ID and Anime ID. Within the OneFootball app, fans can customize and claim their unique DID (e.g., name.football).

By joining the Moca Network, Football ID users will access various rewarding experiences, including GameFi, sports, music, and more, powered by over 400 companies in the Animoca Brands ecosystem and Mocaverse partners. Fans can participate in Web3 activities and earn Realm Points, the point system of Mocaverse’s Realm Network.
