Moca Network, the decentralized identity ecosystem developed by Animoca Brands, is teaming up with Oyunfor, Turkey’s largest digital gaming marketplace, in a move set to reshape how millions of players manage and use their gaming identities. The collaboration will integrate Moca Network’s AIR Kit SDK directly into Oyunfor, giving more than 6.2 million Turkish gamers access to personalized rewards and a streamlined path into Web3.
Good to know
With AIR Kit’s plug-and-play features, Oyunfor will roll out applications powered by smart accounts and verifiable credentials. These tools allow users to create a single, unified identity to manage their gaming rewards, wallet, and account access—all while keeping their data secure.
The verifiable credentials issued to Oyunfor users won’t just be for show—they’ll open up access to exclusive perks like activity-based bonuses, discounts on future purchases, and MOCA token rewards. Because these credentials are interoperable, gamers can also use them on other platforms within the Moca Network ecosystem, creating a more connected and rewarding digital identity experience.
Turkey’s gaming market has been rapidly growing, with players increasingly open to blockchain and crypto technologies. Kenneth Shek, project lead at Moca Network, said the country has become an important focus for expansion:
“Turkey has always been an important market for Moca Network, with a highly supportive community that has become increasingly crypto-savvy in recent years. Decentralized identity is becoming a necessity, not a choice, and driving real-world use cases and applications is the best way to fulfill our mission of putting data control and value back into users’ hands.”
Oyunfor CEO Mehmet Dumanoğlu emphasized the security benefits alongside the gaming enhancements:
“The integration of Web3 technologies into the gaming world is transforming the industry. Through this strategic collaboration with Moca Network, our users will not only enhance their in-game experiences but also have the opportunity to protect and take ownership of their own digital identities. We’re excited to help Web2 gamers take their first steps into the Web3 ecosystem—securely and with confidence.”
The Oyunfor deal is part of Moca Network’s larger strategy to push Web3 adoption at scale. The network recently integrated AIR Kit into SK Planet’s OK Cashbag, South Korea’s largest rewards service with 28 million verified users. Both partnerships align with Moca Network’s mission to deliver self-sovereign, privacy-preserving identity solutions that put players in control of their data.
Moca Network is also a core partner in the development of Moca Chain, Animoca Brands’ new chain-agnostic infrastructure designed to support interoperable digital identities across multiple industries—not just gaming.
