Japanese studio Kreation Verse, with CEO Tomoya Ogawa and game director Karin at the helm, introduced its debut game, TAT Rumble, at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco. This mobile game plunges players into a martial arts contest aiming for glory, featuring collectible NFTs and vibrant 2D characters by the celebrated artist Tatsuro Iwamoto.
Set to launch this summer on iOS and Android in the US and Canada, TAT Rumble has been under development for three years. It invites players to compete in the “Twelve Anonymous Tournament,” using cards from their NFT collection designed by Tatsuro Iwamoto. The game integrates gacha elements, collectible artwork, and Martial Byte technology, facilitating the mastery of fighter moves for fast-paced, engaging battles accessible to a broad range of players.
CEO Ogawa highlighted the game’s innovative shift from web2 to web3, allowing players to transform their characters into NFTs, thus enhancing their abilities. Although the game is accessible without cost, players can purchase items to expedite their progress and enable NFT conversion.
