KartRider: Drift, the popular free-to-play, cross-platform kart racer, has launched its latest update, RISE, developed by Nexon and Nitro Studio. This update introduces fresh gameplay features, user experience upgrades, and a limited-time event featuring Lamborghini super sports cars, available until March 13.
In this update, players can now race in three Lamborghini models: the Aventador Ultimae Roadster, Huracán EVO Spyder, and Urus Performante, adding a touch of luxury and speed to the game.
RISE enhances the game by adding unique skills to each racer, reflecting their individual styles. These skills, usable in Item mode, are divided into Active, for strategic activation, and Passive, for ongoing benefits. Notable abilities include Brodi’s Boost Zone, Kris’s Banana Hack, Martin’s Hydrophile, and Rave’s For The Fans, each adding a strategic layer to races.
The update also introduces a Kart tuning feature for Speed Mode, allowing customization and enhancement of Karts. Players can now adjust their Karts with six basic tuning options to refine their racing strategy.
Racing Boxes, another new feature, offer players surprise items and convert duplicates into Mileage for exclusive shop items. The racing pass system is updated to award Trophies, exchangeable for exclusive items, with both Regular and Premium passes available.
Quality-of-life improvements include better matchmaking in Multi Mode, enabling consecutive matches without returning to the lobby and a new chat system for PC players.
KartRider: Drift is available on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, PC, and mobile devices, offering an engaging and dynamic racing experience with its latest RISE update.
