Immutable’s Illuvium Games Go Live on zkEVM Network

On the Immutable zkEVM network, Immutable has formally released its three Illuvium games: Illuvium Overworld, Illuvium Arena, and Illuvium Zero. These games, which provide players with an entertaining introduction to the world of blockchain gaming, are now free to play.

Players require an Immutable Passport in order to access the games and website of Illuvium. Free of cost, this digital pass can be connected to a Google, Apple, or email address. The games are free to play, but NFTs can grant users extra advantages.

Earn Rewards Through Missions and Milestones

Illuvium games feature a play-to-earn system where players can earn rewards through daily and weekly Missions. These tasks require players to complete specific in-game objectives. In addition to Missions, Illuvium also offers Milestones—one-time rewards for achieving particular goals. Currently, Milestones are available in Illuvium Overworld and Arena.

• Illuvium Overworld: This 3D adventure game immerses players in a quest for resources and Illuvials. Players must defeat Illuvials in auto-battle duels, utilize Shards, and sometimes rely on luck. Captured Illuvials and crafted items are minted as NFTs directly into players’ Immutable Passport wallets. These NFTs can be sold on the marketplace, facilitating a straightforward play-to-earn experience. High-level zones require Fuel, available for purchase.
• Illuvium Arena: This auto-battler variant allows players to engage in battles against others or test their survival skills. It features a diverse range of Illuvials, each with unique powers and upgrade paths. Strategic experimentation is encouraged, with leaderboards and upcoming tournaments adding to the competitive edge. Illuvium Arena runs on the same client as Overworld.
• Illuvium Zero: A base-building game where players construct and upgrade their base, harvest resources, and unlock advanced materials. These resources, such as Hyperion and Crypton, fuel travel in Illuvium Overworld. Landowners can sell these resources for ETH or ILV tokens.
