The election, held during an emergency general meeting in the energetic city of Busan, South Korea, received 71 votes in favor, providing a resounding support. Up until 2025, HRH Prince Faisal will continue to serve as leader.
Following Vlad Marinescu’s voluntary retirement on October 3, 2023, HRH Prince Faisal assumed leadership as Acting President, bringing with him a wealth of expertise and a revolutionary vision for the IESF. Recognized for his crucial contribution to the esports industry’s ascent in Saudi Arabia, he is well-positioned to guide the federation in fulfilling its objective of promoting ethical and sustainable gaming standards worldwide.
