GRID Acquires Bayes Esports

Esports betting data is getting a shake-up after GRID confirmed it has acquired the intellectual property assets of Bayes Esports. The move comes following Bayes’ liquidation and will see GRID absorb its technology into GRID Bet, the company’s dedicated solution for regulated esports betting.

The agreement brings nearly a decade of Bayes-built technologies under the GRID banner. Assets include live data trading solutions, prediction models, and fan engagement tools. All of these will now be powered by official esports data exclusively distributed through the GRID Data Platform.

By combining these technologies with GRID’s infrastructure, the company expects to accelerate product development across its portfolio while enhancing the regulated betting services offered by GRID Bet.
