Vermillion Studios has released a teaser trailer for its new free-to-play social party game, Forgotten Playland, in association with Duckland Games and Merit Circle. The game takes place in an enchanted 3D attic where players may engage in a variety of mini-games and socialize in the shape of little toy figures known as Plushies. The first two mini-games will be available when the release happens in Q1 2024, and there are plans to add additional later on.
A fun look at the wacky 3D attic is provided by the teaser video, which also sets the mood for fun minigames and multiplayer interactions. Small toy figures called plushies will roam this vivid but deserted area, providing a variety of mini-games. The Social Hub is another aspect of the game’s appeal that encourages player friendship as they band together for great times together.
The three themed locations in the attic that players will visit are the Beach Bar, Space Disco, and Jungle Camp. In the teaser for the mini-game Bump-A-Ball, two to four players must maneuver a wooden table platform while dodging blades that cut down on available area. The teaser suggests that there will be more minigames, making for an exciting and engaging gaming experience.
By giving Plushies extensive customization options, Forgotten Playland improves player interaction with the Customization Station. Players may construct unique and customized characters that suit their tastes with up to six customizable traits: head, eyes, neck, arms, legs, and skin.
In Q1 2024, the game is scheduled to debut on Beam, Merit Circle DAO’s community-driven network dedicated to gaming. Jungle Rumble and Bump-A-Ball are the first two minigames available to players. In the latter, players must make their way through a jungle-themed landscape while avoiding hazards like fire-spitting dinosaurs and hammer-shattering hammers.
Forgotten Playland hopes to develop into a dynamic and immersive social gaming environment that combines imaginative personalization, fun minigames, and an active Social Hub.
