The first collection, available exclusively in Shibuya, Japan—the birthplace of Pac-Man—will be launched during the DIG Shibuya Festival from February 8-11, 2025. The limited edition collectibles will be available only to participants who complete the scavenger hunt within the city, with over 40 locations set to be part of the event.

Using Flickplay’s in-app currency, Diamonds, players can unlock these collectibles by visiting specific locations within a designated radius. This scavenger hunt, designed for fans of all ages, mirrors the success of Pokémon Go’s real-world engagement, bringing digital treasures to life in real-world locations. The Pac-Man collectibles will be limited, encouraging players to act quickly.

Following the Shibuya launch, the second Pac-Man collection will be made available to a global audience. Unlike the first, this series will be accessible through Flickplay’s online store. The expansion ensures that fans worldwide can join the anniversary celebration, even if they’re not located in Japan.

Those eager to get involved early can purchase an Experience Pass, which provides access to Flickplay’s in-app currency and unlocks the full Pac-Man collection in Shibuya. Buyers will also receive a digital Pac-Man collectible immediately, no scavenger hunt required.
