Esports World Cup Partners with OBSBOT for 2025

Share

The Esports World Cup is coming back to Riyadh in summer 2025, and there is a new tech twist in store. OBSBOT, known for its AI-driven camera systems, has joined the Esports World Cup Foundation as the official camera and webcam partner for the next two years. This collaboration aims to transform how fans experience competitive gaming, both online and on-site.

Good to know

  • OBSBOT’s AI cameras will be used across player zones, livestream stations, and fan activations.
  • The Esports World Cup will take place from July 7 to August 24 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
  • A prize pool of over $70 million is up for grabs across 25 tournaments and 24 different games.

OBSBOT’s role goes beyond simply filming the action. Its Tail 2 smart-tracking camera and Tiny 2 webcam are built with esports content creators in mind. Tail 2 delivers high-quality 4K video using AI Tracking 2.0 and is compatible with professional setups through NDI and other broadcast protocols. Meanwhile, the compact Tiny 2 webcam provides smooth auto-tracking and crisp image quality right from a desktop.

These tools are expected to help streamers, players, and production crews focus on the competition while the tech handles the visuals.

The partnership also supports a wider goal from the Esports World Cup Foundation — strengthening connections with the Chinese gaming and technology community. OBSBOT’s involvement aligns with efforts to link Chinese esports innovation with the global scene.

He added that OBSBOT’s tech helps capture the raw emotion and intensity that define esports, bringing fans closer to the action.

Liu Bo, CEO and Founder of OBSBOT, sees the Esports World Cup as more than just a series of tournaments. “We believe that everyone’s story deserves to be seen and shared, and the Esports World Cup provides the perfect platform for us to showcase our vision,” he said.

Bo highlighted how the partnership gives creators access to professional-level gear that supports storytelling across esports content.

The 2025 edition of the Esports World Cup promises much more than just top-tier competition. Alongside the tournaments, the event will feature live concerts, cosplay zones, anime cafés, and classic arcades. Organizers expect millions of fans to take part in person and online.

With over 2,000 players and 200 teams from more than 100 countries, the EWC continues to expand its global reach.
