Leading blockchain ecosystem Cronos and international neobank Revolut have partnered to launch a new teaching program meant to increase awareness of cryptocurrencies. By bringing the Cronos Learn course to Revolut’s large user base, the cooperation increases accessibility to cryptocurrency education.
Revolut, a prominent fintech enterprise in the European Union, caters to more than 35 million retail clients in over 50 nations. The goal of this new partnership with Cronos is to make portfolio management for Bitcoin easier and more safe for its customers. Users may learn about Web3 technologies, cryptocurrencies, and Cronos in an entertaining and participatory way with the Cronos Learn course, which is currently available on the Revolut app.
The Cronos Learn course is divided into three comprehensive chapters. The first chapter covers the fundamentals of Cronos, including its technology, ecosystem, and origins. The second chapter delves into decentralized finance (DeFi) and its value proposition. The final chapter introduces Web3 Gaming, providing insights into non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and blockchain games.
To start the course, users should download or update the Revolut app to the latest version. They can then navigate to the “Crypto” section, select “Discover,” and find the “Learn” section to access the Cronos course. Quizzes at the end of each chapter help reinforce understanding and test knowledge.
Cronos collaborates with over 500 application builders and contributors, aiming to promote self-custody adoption in Web3, with a focus on DeFi and gaming. The ecosystem includes three blockchains: Cronos EVM, Cronos POS, and Cronos IBC, each designed to enhance interoperability and blockchain development.
In a recent development, Cronos introduced a new Layer 2 network, Cronos zkEVM, in partnership with Matter Labs. This network, available on testnet, uses Matter Labs’ software tools to support the creation of new Layer 2 and Layer 3 hyperchains on Ethereum, advancing blockchain technology and offering new development opportunities.
