Captain Laserhawk Shooter by Ubisoft Set for December 18 Launch

Share

On Wednesday, December 18, Ubisoft will release Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E., a competitive top-down shooter. The game has player-driven governance and blockchain integration, and it was inspired by the Netflix series Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix.

The Arbitrum Layer 2 blockchain will power the game, and Sequence’s wallet solution will ensure a flawless experience. Players will have easy access thanks to this connection, which eliminates technological obstacles frequently found in blockchain-based games.

In addition to its captivating gameplay, Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E. will provide gamers the ability to shape its development. The focus of Ubisoft’s concept is on community involvement in creating storylines, maps, and gaming mechanisms. The goal of this cooperative strategy is to encourage stronger bonds between players and the game.

NFT Collection and Exclusive Benefits

Ubisoft is launching a free mint of 10,000 dynamic NFTs called Niji Warrior IDs. These will be available on Magic Eden starting Wednesday, December 11, at 5 p.m. UTC.

Niji Warrior IDs offer more than governance features. They unlock exclusive rewards, access to VIP community channels, and direct interaction with Ubisoft developers. Players holding these NFTs will have a significant role in co-creating the game’s future.

“This project represents a new frontier in collaborative game development, where players become co-creators. With Niji Warrior IDs, we’re building a truly participatory gaming community,” said Didier Genevois, Ubisoft’s technical director and executive producer.

Ubisoft is exploring new frontiers with this blockchain-driven project, combining entertainment and community involvement. By integrating player feedback and blockchain technology, the company aims to redefine collaborative game development.
