Binance Backs PIXEL Token in Successful Launch

Share

This Monday witnessed the introduction of the PIXEL token by the blockchain-based game Pixels, immediately catching the attention of the market with a sharp rise in value.

On its first trading day, PIXEL saw a 22.7% increase in value, a strong start highlighted by CoinMarketCap data. Now, with a trading price just over $0.5513, PIXEL’s market capitalization has reached roughly $425 million, placing it among the top 200 cryptocurrencies by market value. Out of a total five billion, about 771 million PIXEL tokens are currently in circulation, hinting at a possible market value reaching beyond $2.75 billion if all tokens were circulated.

The launch was significantly supported by Binance, a top cryptocurrency exchange, which included PIXEL in its Launchpool platform. This move allowed participants to earn PIXEL tokens by staking Binance Coin (BNB) or the FDUSD stablecoin, adding up to an allocation of 350 million PIXEL tokens. Following this, Binance made PIXEL available for trading, increasing its visibility and market presence.

Furthermore, Pixels spurred user engagement by announcing a 20 million PIXEL token airdrop for those who staked the Ronin (RON) token, enhancing the incentives for participating in the ecosystem. Despite a slight decrease in the price of Ronin at the beginning of the week, it bounced back, showing a 17% increase over the past week and hitting a two-year high of $3.49 earlier in the month.

These strategies, including the airdrop and rewards program through Binance Launchpool, played a crucial role in building initial excitement around PIXEL and highlighted the expanding interest and investment in blockchain gaming and social platforms.
