Renowned Ethereum Layer 2 provider Arbitrum has launched “Arbitrum Arcade,” a new project that promises players eight weeks of exhilarating gameplay and endless inventiveness.
Arbitrum Arcade, which will launch on March 11th through the Arbitrum Portal, will feature a selection of 24 games that are exclusive to the Arbitrum ecosystem. These games ensure a varied and interesting gaming experience for players whether they are deployed on Arbitrum One, Nova, or an Arbitrum Orbit network.
Game developers have until March 15th to deploy their creations on-chain to secure a spot in the event lineup. The spotlight also shines on content creators, encouraging them to join the fray and showcase their imaginative prowess. With a generous $200,000 prize pool up for grabs, along with custom gaming PCs, the stakes are high for participants.
Those who want to participate as content makers must register by March 4th at 12 p.m. EST. They have to promise to create engaging content related to the highlighted games for the specified weeks. Moreover, creators have the opportunity to be highlighted on Arbitrum’s official X account, but they must mint NFTs on OpenSea in order to be eligible.
Ai Arena, Army of Tactics, BattleFly, and more thrilling titles are among the exciting list of games that Arbitrum Arcade promises to offer over its first seven weeks. Every week, players may play a variety of games and record their in-game accomplishments on-chain by utilizing Clique, an Ethereum infrastructure solution.
In order to secure a desired slot in the last week of Arbitrum Arcade, gaming teams are also encouraged to release their works on Arbitrum’s platforms before April 15th.
Not only does Arbitrum Arcade honor the best in gaming, but it also supports up-and-coming content producers with awards totaling $200,000. Additionally, winners will compete for fully equipped gaming PCs, which will be given out according to metrics like the quantity of referrals, the quality of the video material, and impressions.
In order to qualify for incentives, content producers need to have produced a minimum of 10 different types of web3 game videos in the last 60 days. Furthermore, it is important to make a weekly commitment to creating material associated with participating games.
The Arbitrum Foundation continues to up the ante by hosting weekly live broadcasts that are simulated on X and YouTube. These events offer a forum for accomplishment celebration and community engagement.
