Apeiron: Godling Genesis, a Ronin-based god-game-infused dungeon crawler, has officially launched on mobile platforms. Available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play, the game is currently limited to Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Japan. Developer Foonie Magus has plans to expand the availability to the United States, China, and Latin America by 2025, extending its reach to a global audience.
This new mobile version mirrors the one currently available on PC via the Epic Games Store and Mavis Store, offering the core dungeon-based action gameplay. However, it’s important to note that the mobile version does not yet include the higher-level god game metaplay. Foonie Magus plans to incorporate this in the coming year, providing players with a more expansive experience.
Several new features have been added specifically for mobile players. These include an official battle pass and a webstore, offering players a chance to enhance their experience. The seasonal battle pass rewards players for daily progress, while the webstore allows the purchase of various in-game items, including packages and earning multiplier tools, using Apeiron’s in-game tokens.
The mobile version also ties into ongoing rewards. Players can participate in Season 4, which runs until January 15th. The prize pool for the season includes 240,000 APRS tokens, valued at approximately $50,000. This season rewards players for their continued engagement with the game.
Frank Cheng, CEO of Foonie Magus, expressed the company’s excitement about bringing the game to a broader audience: “Our goal has always been to make Apeiron accessible to players worldwide, and we are excited to bring Apeiron: Godling Genesis to a new audience of gamers through the Apple App Store and Google Play.”
Apeiron introduces blockchain technology and user-generated content (UGC), allowing players to create, own, and connect their in-game experiences. “This adds new dimensions to gameplay, offering deeper engagement and expanding the game’s universe with endless opportunities for players and creators alike,” Cheng added.
