GAMEE, a leading Web3 and mobile gaming platform under Animoca Brands, has secured a new investment from TON Ventures, the first venture fund of The Open Network (TON). This investment is expected to significantly boost GAMEE’s ecosystem, particularly its WatBird Mini App.
TON Ventures, managed by a DAO, is focused on funding projects built on the TON blockchain. With this latest investment, GAMEE plans to deepen its integration of TON-based digital assets, such as TON-powered tokens and NFTs, into its Telegram Mini App. This strategic move is aimed at enhancing user engagement and expanding the platform’s reach.
Currently, GAMEE’s WatBird Mini App on Telegram has attracted over 4 million players who use TON Wallets. The platform is looking to further grow its presence within the TON gaming ecosystem by onboarding more gaming and Web3 communities, GameFi investors, and Telegram users to the TON Blockchain and TON Wallet.
The company is also planning community-driven and viral market activities within the GAMEE Telegram Mini App to better integrate users into the TON ecosystem.
Bozena Rezab, co-founder of GAMEE, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to deepen our relationship with The Open Network (TON). We plan to enrich the gaming experience we have built for Telegram with new viral and community-focused mechanics centered around the meme character WatBird. This is another milestone in welcoming our community of 90 million Telegram gamers into the TON ecosystem.”
