“Bitcoin now has a star quarterback” as G.O.A.T Tom Brady signals he is invested

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, who is widely known as the greatest quarterback of all time, has jumped on the Bitcoin bandwagon and hinted at owning some of the top cryptocurrency.

On Monday, the seven-time NFL Super Bowl champion has added laser eyes to his Twitter profile. The quarterback who became the G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) after winning his sixth Super Bowl two years ago, was challenged by Blockworks co-founder Jason Yanowitz to change his profile picture.

And Brady did so, thereby signaling to his 1.9 million followers that he is invested in Bitcoin.

While Bitcoin’s price was seemingly unaffected by the ‘move’, the community was pleased about the fact that Bitcoin added a quarterback to its roster:

Bitcoin has dipped a bit in the past 12 hours and is trading at $54,964.15 according to CoinMarketCap data.
