Wimbledon Starting Today

Share

The world’s most famous and prestigious tennis tournament is without a doubt the Wimbledon, who has created superstars and failures over the years. Now it is back once again and with its first rounds being played today, it’s about now you need to place a bet on who is going to win it, if you want the best possible odds on the outcome.

We aren’t going to lie and tell you that we are tennis experts and that you should place a bet on “xxx”, but we can help you find some odds that there might be value in and from there you can make your own decision. Let’s have a look at the odds on men to win the Wimbledon outright:

Novak Djokovic is by far the favourite at odds 2.75, followed by Andy Murray at 4.50, Rafael Nadal at 5.50 and Roger Federer at odds 6.50. These four players are the usual favourites to win Wimbledon and with Djokovic being great on grass and being on a great streak, it seems that this might be the sure bet.

For women it is not exactly the same story as with men, as there is a clear favourite in Serena Williams at odds 2.37 and then a big gap to the second favourite Maria Sharapova at odds 7.00. If you are looking to place a bet on an outsider, there’s some value in considering Venus Williams or Caroline Wozniacki, both at odds 51.00, as they have both been at the top of the world rankings for women in their time.

The odds has been taken from Bet365. If you don’t already have an account, then you can create one here and receive a 100% sign up bonus upon registration and depositing. Good luck with the betting.
