CEO of William Hill US Race & Sports, Joe Asher, believes that professional sports leagues and the NFL will change their position on sport betting at some point, supporting the expanded legalization in the United States.
Asher states that it’s more a matter of when legalization will occur in New jersey rather than if it’s going to happen or not. Although he didn’t give a timeframe for this or said how long William Hill’s term with Monmouth really is, he assured that for the time this happened, his book will be in a good position.
On an interview call with The Linemakers on Sporting News, Hill claimed that “it’s inevitable that sports betting will be legal in New Jersey”.
