One of the best football players in the world in the mid 90's Tomas Brolin was seen playing Unibet Open in Copenhagen yesterday. While most players at the tournament had no clue about which kind of legend he actually is, Unibet asked Remko Rinkema to do a portrait about Sweden's most popular football player in the 90's.
Brolin was part of the Swedish dream team, which ensured them a third place at the 1994 World Cup in USA. Back then Brolin was seen as being the best player in the world, better than Romario, Batistuta and all the other great players of the time. The reason why? Because Brolin was the engine on the Swedish team, who not only scored goals but also defended sublimely as well as motivate his team-mates.
