Swiss Bitcoin Sportsbook

Betting, the Swiss online gaming software developer, has launched a new sports betting module which uses the virtual currency Bitcoins for all transactions. The mother company, Swiss Interactive Software Gmbh, performed a thorough investigation into Bitcoins prior to adopting it as a valid currency for players. Amongst its initial concerns were the operational side of the platform and structure of design as well as the volatile nature of the virtual currency.

Despite it all, Bitcoins seems to have a firm foothold within the gambling community and industry, with more and more online casino, poker and sportsbetting sites and developers (as well as players) opting for its use mainly due to privacy and taxation concerns.
