The National Football League gets going on Sunday September 7th, a day that for most people will be the start of the most exciting sport in the world. The NFL will see 17 weeks of play before thrilling playoff matches and ultimately the Super Bowl on February 1st.
If you want to bet on NFL games there are tons of options every single week, including point totals, over-unders and halftime spreads. Right now we want to take a look at some Super Bowl odds to see if you can find a team to support throughout the entire season.
The big favorites this year are the two teams that managed to make the Super Bowl this past winner. Peyton Manning’s Denver Broncos come in at 11/2 followed by the Seattle Seahawks who you can bet on at 6/1. Last winter Russell Wilson torched the Broncos but right now it seems like those two teams are destined to face each other again if you have to believe the odds.
Next in line are the New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers at 8/1 followed by the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints at 9/1. There’s a big drop off after these teams as the next best team come in at 20/1, the Philadelphia Eagles.
In case you like a really big gamble, the longest odds are the Jacksonville Jaguars at 250/1 and the Oakland Raiders at 200/1.
