A new sports wagering application for mobile devices will be released right in time for football season by Station Casinos Inc. The company believes, this action won’t represent a competition to the company’s sports books.
The application completed a field trial with Nevada regulators and it was promoted to 16 Souther Nevada casinos during that period of time. Sports Connection Mobile, as it has been named, will allow Station Casinos’ custumers to wager on sports events using their mobile devices.
Station Casinos Vice President of Sports Book Operations Art Manteris said: “I think this is fantastic for the growth potential of the sports wagering industry.”
