Sports Betting in DC now approved

District of Columbia Lottery has approved the sports betting regulations in Washington DC.

Nicole Jordan, the director of Marketing and Communication, stated in an interview that the sports book license process will open in a “couple of weeks”.

The license will be of two types, first is provisional license and second is full license.

According to the DC Lottery, a sportsbook operator will need to be in the mentioned jurisdictions for a provisional license: Delaware, Mississippi, Nevada,New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, West Virginia, and the Canadian province British Columbia.
