Sportradar Signs Data Partnership Agreement with Ukrainian Premier League

Sportradar, the world’s leading sports-data provider, announced a new data partnership today with the Ukrainian Premier League, one of Europe’s leading football leagues. Sportradar becomes the “Official Sports Data Partner of the Ukrainian Premier League” from now until the 2017/2018 season.

The agreement between the two parties allows Sportradar to collect data across all the premier leagues, U19, U21, Ukrainian Cup and Super Cup matches the next four years. Sportradar has been awarded a non-exclusive right to collect, archive and use the data for betting and media purposes.

Our new partnership with Sportradar gives us the opportunity to provide our fans with even more insights and live information. Whether they are in the stadium, at home or on holidays abroad, all our fans will now be able to follow their favourite teams from anywhere in the world. By unlocking the potential of all the data in our matches, we can provide more entertainment and more engagement to all our fans”, said Vitaliy Danilov, President of the Ukrainian Premier League.

Carsten Koerl, CEO of Sportradar added, “Ukrainian and East European soccer is becoming more and more popular and after hosting the UEFA EURO 2012 together with Poland, the interest in soccer reached a new peak. We hope that with our experience and expertise in data collection and distribution, we can propel Ukrainian soccer even further up the ladder and help to develop the attractiveness of the league to the betting and the media markets worldwide.”
