Soccer players arrested for match fixing allegations

The Australian police has arrested a group of men allegedly linked to fixing state soccer matches generating over AUS$2 million. Although not confirmed, the police believes this case could be related to Wilson Raj Perumal, a match fixer in Hungary. Scores of the Southern Stars Football Club are said to have been fully manipulated by the match-fixing members. As of yesterday, the Victoria Police arrested nine players of this team and their coach for being responsible of these actions.
