SBTech, one of the leading provider of sports betting and igaming solutions, announced today that they have been awarded a remote operating license for the supply of gaming solutions and software in the UK market.
SBTech took the initiative to get their software licensed by the UK Gambling Commission after they announced that it requires operators operating in the UK to use software from licensed providers only. SBTech is trying to strengthen their reputation and position in the UK market and this was a natural step in that direction.
Itai Zak, CEO of SBTech, commented, “We’re pleased to be officially licensed by the UK Gambling Commission after the implementation of further stringent regulations in relation to sports betting and gaming services within the UK. The UK market is an important key market for the company and the licences will allow us to target further growth in this market. It also serves as testament to the quality of SBTech’s sports betting and gaming platform, which millions of players around the globe now enjoy, and the high standards it meets bolster our reputation as a respected and highly regarded industry leader.” |
