Sports betting popularity keeps growing worldwide and the Israel Sports Betting Board (ISBB) reports that they’ve recorded record revenue over 2013.

Gaming website GamingIntelligence reports that the ISBB revenue is up 7.3% in 2013 compared to the previous year. The total revenue is up to 1.92 billion Israeli new shekels (NIS), which amounts to €409 million. The profit climbed 1.2% compared to 2012, or a total of 420 million NIS.

The market leader Winner, a daily odds company that offers all sorts of games, extends their lead, as their income rising 3.8% to 1.72 billion NIS. Winner’s stranglehold on the market is immense as rival Racer, a product of La Francaise des Jeux, generated just NIS 64 million in revenue.
