The World Cup in Brazil has just now finished its first weekend of play and already now there has been quite some surprises and plenty of goals in the games. As always in cups, there are plenty of players betting on the outcome of the matches and winning and losing loads of money every single day.

For one punter however, the world cup has been more than just winning a decent amount of money as he turned $40 into a massive $113,000 with a four-way bet. The bet was placed on who would lead in half time / full time in the Japan vs Ivory Coast, Ecuador vs Switzerland, France vs Honduras and Argentina vs Bosnia matches.

The total odds for the parlay was a massive 2844.00 and with a $40 bet it turned into $113,725 for the lucky and skilled punter from New Zealand. The bookie also agreed that it was a good score for the punter and acknowledged that he did have the necessary luck to win the big prize.

”You don’t see that sort of collect very often. Bosnia also scored in the last five minutes against Argentina in a 2-1 loss, so that would have been a pretty nervous time” The bookie said to Stuff New Zealand.
