Pragmatic Play after entering the licensed UK market last year in April acquired licenses to distribute its slots games in the Portuguese and Spanish market.

The news came out after the gambling regulation bodies; Portugal’s Gambling Inspection and Regulation Service (SRIJ) and the Spain’s Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (DGOJ), from the countries, approved the online games of the company for distribution.

The move shows Pragmatic Play’s continued efforts towards international growth, with going live in Denmark back in August.

The Head of Business Development at Pragmatic Play, Yossi Barzely, said, “We’re very proud to have been given the green light in Spain and Portugal as we look to expand worldwide.”

He further added that his company’s efforts and commitment towards European expansion can be seen in their yet another breakthrough at the Pragmatic Play. Barzely claimed that the games and the future titles would prove just as popular with players in both the new markets as they are everywhere else.
