Poker player bets $25K on Florida State

Steve Happas, a poker player and amateur punter, has placed a $25,000 moneyline bet on Florida State to beat Auburn and win the BCS Title. This shows gret confidence on behalf of the player, who didn’t just place the wager but also took pictures and posted them on Twitter, sending the picture to Darren Rovell for maximum exposure.

A similar situation made headlines back in September when Floyd Mayweather placed a $300K bet on Texas A&M, posting pictures of the wager which made it around the world and captured headlines. Auburn is the underdog in this match with 8 1/2 points for the game on January 6th.
