The multi-channel solution is already implemented and live through all 1,800 Coral betting shops in the UK, called “Coral Connect”. The system unifies both the offline and online retail system, allowing the players who usually goes to shops to bet online from the same account and vice versa.
New customers will now be able to open a multi-channel account in their betting shop and use the account to bet from home and in the shop. The system is ideal for those who would like the ultimate freedom and also provides bettors a chance to deposit money to their online accounts directly from a betting shop.
The betting shops will be able to see all details of the customer through Playtech’s IMS back office system, allowing the shops to see the entire history of the player and assist them even in online matters. This creates a whole new use of betting shops for punters and might take some of the work load of the support workers online.
