Paddy Power Shop Robbed at Gun Point

Share

Paddy Power is amongst the biggest bookmakers in Ireland and has a lot of betting shops in the betting happy country. However, with so many betting shops around the country, taking thousands of pounds in bets a day, it has become a target for robbers who are trying to catch some quick money.

The Paddy Power betting shop in Edenmore Shopping Centre in Dublin experienced that yesterday, as a man came into the shop at 3 PM with a gun and threatened the staff to give him the money in the register. The staff quickly ran for cover once seeing the gun under the glass partition, which triggered the robber to fire two shots at the counter.

The robber then ran away from the shop, having gotten no money at all and with CC-TV having filmed the entire episode. The robber was partially disguised, but the police is positive that they will be able to make an id of him and make an arrest.
