OpenBet, one of the world’s leading sports betting software companies, announced today that they have signed a seven-year partnership agreement with Singapore Pools. The agreement between the two parties will see OpenBet provide Singapore Pools with sports betting products and services.
OpenBet was selected to be the provider after participating in an open Express of Interest (EOI) back in 2014 and was later on chosen as the provider for the operator, replacing Singapore Pools 10-year old betting system.
“Signing with Singapore Pools is a landmark win for OpenBet, one which affirms the company vision and direction, and our role as a global leader in major regulated gaming markets,” said OpenBet CEO Jeremy Thompson-Hill.
Singapore Pools was founded back in 1968 and provides legal lottery and sports betting in Singapore, where gambling otherwise is prohibited and can send you to jail for several years. Singapore Pools is fully owned by the Singaporian government and provides safe and secure games for the residents of the small rich Asian country.
