Odds for World Cup Matches Tonight

Share

The World Cup in Brazil has reached the final knock out phase of the tournament and we’ve already seen the first surprises, such as Costa Rica’s win over Greece yesterday and Chile almost beating Brazil the other night. Tonight it is time for two of the matches that most people believe will be a walkover for the favourites, but will it really be?

The first match is between France and Nigeria and France has shown an amazing form this cup, beating their opponents easily and scoring plenty of goals, while letting only a few in. Nigeria moved on from a relatively easy group and hasn’t really shown a lot of great football and has been accused of playing boring football.

This leads us with tonight’s odds on the game which is 1.45 on a France victory, which in itself is great value, but if you consider how France has been playing there might be more value in betting on France with a handicap -1, for odds 2.10 with Bet365. France have scored a lot of goals, while Nigeria hasn’t and even though their defense is great, France’s attackers are even better.

The second match of the day is between Germany and Algeria, which once again looks like a walkover for the Germans. Germany showed massive strength in their group and moved on as a clear number one, while Algeria surprised the world with great football and finished in second place in their group.

Germany gives odds 1.33 on a victory in tonight’s match, but we see more value in placing a bet on half time / full time, where Germany leading by half-time and winning by full-time gives odds 1.80 which is quite high taking the levels of the two teams into consideration.
