NFL shows more interest in London than in Vegas

Comissioner Roger Goodell announced that the NFL will play two or even three regular-season games this year in London where sports betting is allowed. However, the league expressed that they have no interest in playing not even an exhibition match in Las Vegas where sports gambling is also permitted. One might now wonder, why the contradiction?

Brian McCarthy, NFL spokesman, said that there is more betting activity in the United States than there is in London but there are more than 30 betting parlors around the Wembley Stadium area.

Sportsbook giant William Hill, claimed that it takes six times more money in bets on NLF played at Wembley than on a regular televised game played in the United States.
