Mobile Sports Betting now live in Pennsylvania

Share

Pennsylvania is now having the live Mobile sports betting, and it is now legal in PA and launched with sugarhouse sportsbook, but online betting in PA still has a long way to reach its potential and Parx Sportsbook, and Bet Rivers Sportsbook also joined them in June 2019. But the major issue is that the bettors cannot legally do betting through an iPhone or iPad. Also, as per rough bases half of the mobile users are using IOS (and higher percentage of the bettors), this would might be the big reason for weakening point for the launch of mobile betting in Pennsylvania, but at the end of May things got off to a hot start when 573k worth bets were placed at sugarhouse in just three days.

Moreover, the IOS users still have to sign up for sugarhouse from the third device and pay a $250 deposit bonus- then only the users can place a bet on a PC or Mac. Because Apple is currently restricting some apps which are not compliant, and till September they would remove the old apps whose codes are not par from the app store. And this step of apple will impact on the current new jersey’s online sportsbook if they will not update their app on time.

However, many third-party providers used online sportsbooks and casinos to give power branding. And these products are built on HTML coding so they can use it on IOS and Android apps.

But google store doesn’t allow gambling apps, and with the android users they can download the app directly by visiting the operator’s site- but in IOS they can’t because all the apps have to go through the app store.
