Intralot Signs IT Contract with OPAP to Upgrade Data Centers

Intralot announced today that they have signed a new IT contract with OPAP S.A. who will take on the task of implementing the new data centers, provide hardware and system software as well as other services needed for the operation, maintenance, technical support and system evolution. The contract will be retrospectively valid and was set in motion the 1st of April and will expire on 31/07/2018.

The contract includes the provision of the use of hardware software of the data centers, migrating all existing data and functionalities to the new central core system as well as upgrade LOTOS O/S to Enhanced LOTOS O/S, granting license to use its software and fo the iFLEX sports betting platform, the data warehouse system and the loyalty program player's club.

Intralot will also provide support services which includes the maintenance of Point of Sales equipment, support center services, data center business operation support services and continue to develope services of the application software and finally provide OPAP with equipment for a new central system.
