Intralot Participates in Athens Marathon for Good Cause

Intralot, the Greece-based online and land-based bookmaker and casino company, participated in the 32nd Athens Marathon, which is a marathon that promotes and spreads ideas of freedom, democracy, fair play and personal excellence and had a massive 35,000 participants this year.


Intralot also had their own runners participating in the race on the 5km, 10km and 42km distances for this years race, aiming to support the “Greek Society for the Protection of Autistic People (E.E.P.A.A). Intralot had more than 270 runners in total participating in the race, which raised awareness towards the good cause.


Intralot also arranged a fund-raiser on behalf of the non government organization “The Smile of the Child”, by having employees of the company betting on the runners participating in the race and letting the money go to the organization.


INTRALOT Group CEO, Mr. Constantinos Antonopoulos, who ran the Athens Marathon race of 42km for the 9th consecutive year, commented after crossing the finish line: “We are very happy to participate at this big celebration. INTRALOT Runners surpassed themselves and revealed the power of the human mind over the human body. I would like to congratulate them all for their participation and their will to support two wonderful causes, the work of E.E.P.A.A. and the Smile of The Child”.


The support of E.E.P.A.A. and the Smile of the Child in this year’s Athens Marathon is part of INTRALOT’s CSR program “INTRALOT – We Care a Lot”.
