Intralot Named Best Multinational Company in Greece

Intralot has had a lot of positive news lately and now yet another boost has come to the Greek company as they have been awarded with prestigious distinction “Best Multinational Company” during the “Diamonds of the Hellenic Economy 2014” awards ceremony. The ceremony is organized by Statbank and took place in Athens on May 22nd, where all the biggest Greek companies were present.

With the award, Intralot shows that their strategy, commitment and massive growth has not gone unnoticed. Furthermore they have been noticed as having contributed positively to the Hellenic economy throughout the past many years.

“We are really honored with this distinction. All these 22 years since its establishment INTRALOT has stayed true to its values and committed to its strategy to promote innovation across geographies. During the past years, INTRALOT has become the leader of the lottery sector and one of the most robust Hellenic multinational companies that supports the Hellenic Economy, and is also an Ambassador of the Hellenic entrepreneurship in the five continents.”  Mr. Elias Athanasiou, Intralot Group Investors Relations Director said after receiving the award.

The distinction for Intralot came after an evaluation of the largest Hellenic companies, which is based on 10 different financial criteria’s. Intralot swept the competition away and accepted the price and the prestigious title. The event is hosted by Statbank yearly and is an attempt to promote healthy businesses, entrepreneurship as well as reward companies using the correct strategy to grow.
