Fenway games, the online developer of real-time, mobile and social gaming products announced today that they have launched SwitchedPlayed, an online site where players can predict what happens next in specific football games and win unique prizes and challenges.
Players will be able to compete against each other through SwitchedPlayed, choosing if the next thing to happen in a match will be a corner, a freekick, a goal or whatever else that players can think about. The players can then compete against each other through private and open leagues and achieve bragging rights over their friends while chatting with new people in the chat room and post their results in social media sites.
“Fenway Games produces unique, easy-to-understand playing experiences. Our games, like SwitchPlayed, tap into the emotions that fans experience while they are watching or listening to live sport,” said Peter Gough, founder and CEO of Fenway Games. “We feel that there is an uncatered-for market between social and sports betting to which our games are perfectly suited.”
The company expects to drive revenues into the site through advertising, credit purchasing and those buying virtual goods from the store.
