Federal funds used to chase possible bookies

An undercovered FBI agent used undercover employees to track possible bookies in Oklahoma and to obtain confirmations about a gambling website which has been under investigation for a period of time. The agent spent thousands of dollars in federal funds betting on University of Oklahoma football games and other events. This assignment was known as “Operation Bad Luck”. The undercover employees met with suspected bookies at places such as restaurants, parking lots, bingo halls to either pay up or get paid.
