DraftKings Plans To Lunch Its Services In Irish Market

 Daily Fantasy Sports Giant, DraftKings is planning to provide its gaming service in Ireland in coming times. Though the company has not yet disclosed the exact launch date of the services, it is expected before the end of this year.

Currently, the Fantasy Sports Giant has no plans to open an office in the country but the Chief International Officer, Jeffery Haas has told that the firm would see how the “business becomes established and grows over time”. Haas refused to reveal as of now the investment sum; the company intends to make in its Irish market launch.

The company has made submissions to Department of Finance suggesting 4-5% tax on the total revenue generated by operators of “online skill games”. DraftKings further asked the Irish government to consider daily fantasy sports as a separate game from gambling or sports betting.

Seeing the high demand for similar gaming services the company showing its keen interest, is currently looking to sign a deal with media and technology firms for its marketing and sponsorship initiatives.
