The Chinook Winds Casino will begin Sportsbetting in Lincoln City by August 27, 2019.

The Chinook Winds director of casino operations, Will Robertson stated, “We’re expecting it to be pretty busy. There may be lines to get your bets in.”

Meanwhile, the Oregon State Lottery is getting ready to start its own sports betting games. In an interview, the spokesman Matt Shelby stated that the agency may not be able to begin during opening NFL season.

“It will likely be two, three weeks into the season” when the state sports games are ready, “Testing time is going fine,” Shelby added. He says they are designing the interfaces between sports game and many different purchases technologies that developed in recent years.

“It’s important for sports betting to be easy and seamless, mostly in the beginning of the casino, as customer try it out more,” Shelby and Robertson added.

The state planned to offer an App for the customers to play from anywhere. The Chinook Winds sports betting will be only available in the casino as the state has not allowed betting on college games.

The casino has set aside a 600 square space as “sports wagering lounge” which includes 15 televisions so that players see the game they bet on. Their sports betting technology providers are Las Vegas Dissemination Co., a very well known national leader in pari-mutuel betting.
