The legislation that will allow once again online wagering platforms to receive bets on horse racing from Illinois residents and that will control the administration of money collected from Illinois 10th Casino in Des Plaines succeeded in the House of Representatives this Sunday.
Since January, Illinois residents haven’t been able to place bets through account-wagering platforms as the legislature flunked to relicense betting companies in 2013. However, the approved legislation will allow online wagering opportunities and will create a relief in the budget of the Illinois Racing Board.
