After the epic conclusion of the Champions League semi finals last Wednesday the odds have not shifted much as Bayern Munich remains the favorite to win it all. The most interesting jump was made by Atletico Madrid who were quoted at 25-1 before the quarterfinals but, after beating Barcelona, are now 7-2 to win.
The two semi final match ups are as following.
Bayern Munich (6/4) – Real Madrid (7/5)
Atletico Madrid (7/2) – Chelsea (5/1)
Despite its many super stars Chelsea is the long shot to win this year’s Champions League at 5-1. In the 2011-2012 season Chelsea managed to win the Champions League followed by Bayern Munich last year, this year’s favorite to win.
Real Madrid last won the Champions League in the 2001-2002 season when they beat Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals, the same team they’re facing in the semis this year.
Dark horse Atletico leads the Spanish league and looks to finally make a splash in the Champions League after winning the UEFA Cup in both 2010 and 2012.
