Ultimate Poker rolled out real money Omaha games on Wednesday. Currently there are only $0.10/$0.25 and $1/$2 PLO tables available which will remain open during a test phase of the client. More stakes will be added in the near future and might even be available all the way from $0.01/$0.02 to $10/$20.
Players have for a long time been asking Ultimate Poker to add Omaha tables and hopes for it were high when UP released a major software update back in September, but disappointment settled in when the release only addressed customization issues like table resizing, new avatars and the VIP program. Ultimate Poker promised it would roll out more frequent updates.
This move by UP is also intended to make the room compete with its main rival WSOP.com which does offer Hold’Em, Omaha and Stud games. At the moment there are no Omaha SnG or MTT’s on offer but these are also probably coming soon.
