Tom “durrrr” Dwan, world famous online poker pro, has left Full Tilt Poker’s sponsored pro players team “The Professionals”. The motives are not yet clear, but one thing is definitely certain, his image has been removed from the website. Visitors to the FTP website will now only see Gus Hansen and Viktor Blom’s names and images posted across the portal.

There were no announcements or media releases regarding the parting of Dwan and according to Matthew Showell of PokerListings, “Full Tilt Poker and Tom Dwan have agreed to part ways following the recent expiration of Dwan’s contract”. An official statement from Full Tilt Poker read, “To have one of the most respected names in poker on our team has been a great pleasure. We will continue to watch Tom at the tables and wish him every success in the future”.

Dwan has not been very active in the world of online poker, and in the last few months he hasn’t really been playing at the Full Tilt Poker site. According to HighStakesDB, Dwan ws inactive from June to September with a small period of play between September and October. After that he has disappeared. It is rumoured, this absence and lack of public gameplay could have been the reasons his contract was not renewed.
